I took pictures

Now let's see if I can get pictures up on the blog!!!  In the planter are plants of Poblano and Jalapeno peppers, the vine  to the right, if this posts correctly, is a Red Vine Hop, presumably a Japanese variety.  The Earth Boxes up against the house are planted with tomatoes and cucumbers.

Sorry for not posting earlier

I have been busy with husband as he has been getting the yard ready for when he won't be able to garden for a while.
He had surgery on Wed. April 15th and the operation was a success according to the doctor.  He had a total knee replacement.

AND I plant food

I planted escarole in the whiskey barrel that husband planted one of the apricot trees and some daffodil bulbs into.  The escarole plants are small but will be great in salad while so young.  When older, they will be made into soup.

My husband plants flowers

I am lucky that my hubby likes to plant things, I have my favorite flowers blooming in several spots now, they are daffodils.  Gorgeous.  I have mini ones and the King Alfred ones.

Still no knitting this year

My hands are still painful; I am not sure if some of this is arthritis or what but I can't think of knitting on small needles right now.  I am also a bit spacey at night so am staying away from patterned work.  My friend Colleen is making a really nice scarf in the rainbow yarn so I would think that might inspire me, but I don't thing so.
Meanwhile, things continue.

Happy new year

I have been very lazy lately; watching tv and reading and cooking so there is nothing on the needles that is new or nearing completion. I hope this changes but I am not making any promises.
